2023 Salomon RS 8 Skate XC Skis w/ Prolink Pro Skate Bindings

If you are a recreational skate skier who has a need for speed and aspires to climb the ranks in your category, the Salomon RS 8 Skate Cross-Country skis are made for you. It’s no secret that long distances and physically demanding exercise comes with the territory of cross-country skiing. As a leading brand in the ski industry, Salomon understands that in order to sustain the necessary level of stamina to perform, you must do so with high quality, specifically designed equipment. Weight is of key importance when it comes to skate skiing as you must powerfully propel yourself forward in a repetitive motion. The RS 8 Prolink skis are designed not only with lightweight materials, giving you more power for a longer period of time, but they are constructed with powered camber to efficiently propel your body forward naturally. The Densolite 3000 core is made with carbon and fiberglass, the ideal combination that makes the ski particularly responsive and consistent, which goes a long way when spending hours out on the track. Boasting a slightly different shape, the 44/43/45 sidecut provides excellent edge grip, as well as keeps you striding forward in a straight, consistent direction. On top of that, the G4 racing base includes a special additive that encourages improved wax absorption and retention, making these skis the fastest on the hill. Paired with the Prolink Pro Skate bindings, you’ll be mounted and ready to show everyone how skate skiing is done.
