3e Corrupted Flesh Storyteller Guide (The Dark Histories) Hardcover – April 2, 2025

Unearth what should not be…The Grand Duchy of Stromberg is unaware it stands on a precipice. Centuries ago, the Grand Illumination ushered in an era of peace and science but it also opened a back door for evil. Wanting to bring about utopia, scientists tinker with powers far beyond their control. It is an age of Reason, not heroes, and if someone doesn’t grapple with what is lurking in the shadows, the whole nation will descend into darkness.Corrupted Flesh Storyteller Guide blends gothic horror and dark fantasy elements to provide Storytellers (GMs) with setting information and 18 modular adventures - each with a moral dilemma, multiple endings, and lasting in game consequences. It also boasts a ‘concept-based presentation’ to help keep the Storyteller out of the book during gameplay, tools to run a sandbox style or linear campaign, optional side plots for player characters, suggestions on how to intensify or tone down horror elements, and other tools to custom-tailoring your game.Game mecahincs are compatible with 3e, 3.5e, d20 and Pathfinder 1e.
