Product Description A small but mighty abrasive accessory, 3M Unitized Wheel Mandrels secures Scotch-Brite Unitized Wheels (sold separately) to a rotary tool with a ¼” collet (such as a die grinder) for edge deburring and finishing. From the Manufacturer The 3M™ Unitized Wheel Mandrel 990 secures a small Scotch-Brite™ unitized sanding wheel or radial bristle disc to a rotary tool for edge deburring and finishing applications. The shaft is inserted into the tool and the wheel or disc fits onto the tip and is attached with the appropriate cap. The silver cap secures products from 1/8" to 1/4" thick, and the black cap secures products from 1/4" to 1/2" thick. This assembly secures the abrasive product during high-speed applications.
