6.5 Gallon Glass Carboy

This 6.5 gallon glass carboy is a popular choice for primary fermentation of beer or wine (without grape skins). Its size provides ample headspace for krausen and active fermentation in 5 gallon batches.

Glass fermenters are airtight, odor-resistant, and easy to sanitize. They’re often preferred over plastic buckets and PET carboys because they don’t scratch easily, won’t degrade over time, and prevent oxygen exposure. With proper care, a glass carboy can last for decades of brewing.

Seal this fermenter with:

• Small Universal Stopper
• #6.5 rubber stopper

Our packaging experts have developed specialized materials to protect glass carboys during transit. For safe lifting and transport, add the Universal Harness to your setup.
