A song for women is a record of Dr. (Mrs) Gloria Laraba Shoda's advocacy for Nigerian women and it chronicles her achievements and obstacles; pains and victories since becoming NCWS National President in 2016.Through advocacy that ranges from gender equality, violence against women and Human Trafficking to Political, Health awareness, Arts, and Culture and Education, Gloria Laraba Shoda, as she is fondly called, is singing a song for the Nigerian girl child who, although appears vulnerable and disadvantaged, under the right environment, has a strong relentless and vibrant entrepreneurial spirit. It is hoped that this collection of Speeches, Goodwill messages and Papers will inspire men and women alike to join her cause, sing a song for women across the land, and inspire Nigerian Women to become better versions of themselves.
