Battery Tender® PowerPlus 48V DC Plug - Club Car DS Precedent

The Battery Tender® 48V Club Car Golf Cart Plug is an OEM-style connector adapter that allows the Battery Tender® PowerPlus 48V 15 Amp on-board charger to connect directly to the factory charge port on Club Car DS and Precedent golf carts — eliminating direct battery terminal access and enabling permanent installation for automatic maintenance charging between uses.

Why Use the Factory Charge Port

Connecting through the Club Car factory charge port preserves the battery compartment seal, prevents terminal corrosion from repeated direct clamp connections, and enables the PowerPlus charger to remain permanently connected for ISM float maintenance whenever the cart is stored. The OEM-style connector matches the factory port exactly — no modification required.

Compatible Vehicles

Club Car DS and Precedent golf carts with 48V battery configurations, model years 1995–2013. Verify the specific charge port configuration on the cart before purchasing.

Important Compatibility Note: This cable is not recommended for use with Club Car golf carts that require a 3rd pin connection to the On-Board Computer (OBC).

Known Incompatibility:

• Club Car DS models (1998–2004) with 48V systems and OBC
• Club Car Precedent models (2004 and up) with OBC

These OBC-equipped models rely on the 3rd pin for battery charging regulation and energy usage tracking. If your cart uses OBC part numbers such as 101909901 (DS) or 102511001 (Precedent), this cable will not function correctly. Customers with these models should use a compatible charger cable that supports the 3rd pin ground connection.
