Begonia maculata 'Tamaya', Bamboo Cane Begonia, Bamboo Begonia, houseplant, Multiple Bloom Times, Rare, Container Size: 4.5"

This is a rare beauty... a Begonia with silvery spots on angelwing-style green leaves, multiple blooms of pale pink, simple flowers... all on a stem that will remind you of Bamboo. Plant this tropical beauty outdoors if your temperatures are warm enough, taking it indoors when things cool down. Or, as most gardeners do, keep this as a houseplant near a window with bright, indirect light, away from pets who should not nibble at it. This plant with the unusual looks requires little in the way of unusual care, so it is as ideal for beginner plant collectors as it is for experts.
