Introducing the Goodtime Blackgrass, a banjo designed for those seeking a darker aesthetic. Its all-maple construction, stained black, is accented with matte black hardware and a black head, giving it a unique, bold look. Crafted by Deering Banjo Co in San Diego, it shares the familiar Goodtime vibe and features a Midnight Maple fingerboard with Artisan-style Pearloid inlays. The 3-ply violin-grade maple ensures optimal tone and resonance. The Blackgrass also includes spikes at 7, 9, and 10, allowing you to play in keys A, B, and C, expanding your musical range. Whether you're a traditional player or prefer a more punk-inspired sound, the Blackgrass offers a distinctive, eye-catching option.
