Fun Fact! Apache Tear is really a sub-group or type of obsidian; essentially the same stone, both made of volcanic glass and black in color. However, Apache Tears are black obsidian that formed by being thrown up into the air giving them a much less glassy & more rough appearance.
Great stone to get kids interested in collecting! If you hold it up to the light, you can kind of see through them!
lots of Apache Tears available along with all sorts of other gems, stones, crystals, minerals, fossils, rocks etc with more added ALL the time
