Cabbage Concave Leaf Platter

The Cabbage Concave Leaf Platter by Bordallo Pinheiro is a sculptural serving piece that artfully captures the organic, cupped shape of a single garden leaf. Unlike flatter trays, this earthenware platter features a gentle inward curve, making it exceptionally functional for serving dishes with light sauces, tossed greens, or roasted vegetables that require a bit of depth. The surface is alive with the realistic textures of a mature cabbage, from the prominent central stalk to the delicate, branching veins that disappear into the ruffled edges. Coated in a vibrant, glassy green glaze that settles into every ceramic groove, this platter brings a refreshing, nature-inspired energy to the table, serving as both a practical kitchen essential and a tribute to traditional Portuguese craftsmanship.
