Cabbage Sauce Boat

The Cabbage Sauce Boat by Bordallo Pinheiro is an artful and practical addition to any dinner service, designed to bring a touch of the Portuguese garden to your table. Crafted from durable earthenware, this piece is shaped like a deep, furled cabbage leaf, creating a natural vessel for gravies, dressings, or warm sauces. The exterior features the collection’s hallmark "wrinkled" texture, complete with prominent white veining and a gently scalloped pouring lip that ensures a smooth, drip-free serve. Finished in a rich green glaze that settles beautifully into the ceramic relief, this sauce boat transforms a standard condiment server into a whimsical conversation piece that honors a century-old artistic tradition.
