They are an ideal solution for children who regularly have the “wiggles” when sitting as they help active students remain seated as they still get the sensation of moving around. Not just for sitting, the disc offers a wide array of benefits. Standing on the Disc is ideal for improving training and strengthening of the core abdominal and trunk muscles. Sitting, standing, kneeling, leaning….all possible. Exercise and workout routines will be enhanced by incorporating the disc into strengthening and toning exercise regimens. When using it to sit on, the Disc combines dynamic seating and static positioning, meaning muscles work in tandem to keep your balance while continuously strengthening and toning. You can inflate or deflate the disc to vary the degree of difficulty. For kids, it helps increase attention and focus. For older folks, it assists with sciatica and improving range-of-motion. Use the disc to freshen up boring exercise routines. Sit-ups on the disc? Only if you’d like to increase difficulty and effectiveness. Push-ups too. The Disc can be incorporated to nearly every exercise routine to give them a new twist, increase benefits and enhance difficulty. The Inflatable Disc is dual sided.
