Our freshly-canned dubias retain comparable nutritional benefits to live ones, and most reptiles find them just as tasty! If your pet is hesitant, try blending them with other insects or veggies to ease the transition to pre-killed food.
Unopened cans boast a shelf life of up to three years and include a resealable plastic lid for convenience after opening the pop-top. Once opened, store in the refrigerator and use within 7 days.
Important reminder: Canned or deceased insects should not be the primary food source for your pet. Use canned dubias only as an emergency option when live insects are unavailable. Ensure your reptile gets the vital nutrition and stimulation from live prey as often as possible.
