- SINGLE ORIGIN - Grown on small-scale farms averaging just a few acres, this coffee is single origin rather than a multi-country blend, highlighting the unique character of its region.
- BOLD NOT BITTER - Our air roasting technique ensures precise control to prevent burnt flavors and effectively eliminates chaff, the dried skin surrounding coffee beans shed during roasting. Unlike traditional gas-fired methods that burn chaff, imparting bitter and acidic notes, our approach safeguards the coffee by drawing chaff into a vortex. As a result, our beans retain their flavor notes, allowing their bold natural flavors to shine through without any hint of bitterness or burning.
- SUPERIOR ROASTING - All Canopy Point Coffee is air roasted. Our roasters use hot air to gently agitate the coffee beans, creating an environment where their inherent flavors can flourish. This carefully orchestrated process ensures an even distribution of heat, unlocking the full potential of each bean without affecting the natural notes of the coffee. Additionally, our roasters solely rely on electricity as a heat source, ensuring that our coffee never comes into contact with fossil fuels.
- FRESHLY GROUND OR WHOLE BEAN - Recognizing that not everyone has access to a grinder at home, we provide the option of freshly ground coffee. Once coffee is ground, it begins to lose its flavors and aromas upon exposure to air. So, we grind fresh coffee beans directly into the bag and seal it immediately to maximize aroma and flavor retention.
