My Mute(TM) makes the volume approximately 1/5 of the sound. By attaching a large weight to the top of the piece that is one end of the string vibration, the top of the chessmen = My Mute (TM) is less likely to vibrate due to the mass effect of the weight (laws of inertia) to make the top of the piece less vibration, so the vibrations transmitted to the front and back board are extremely smaller, and the sound is deactivated. Please rest assured that the pieces will vibrate abnormally, or the pieces may move due to the vibration of the weight. It also allows for easy and secure installation and prevents it from falling out during play. The screws are used to secure the instrument in place, and it will not fall off even if you put the instrument upside down. In addition, unlike comb-type mutes and silencers that are attached by pushing them onto pieces, you can put them on and take them off without damaging the pieces.
