A smart and funny picture-book take on visual literacy that helps young readers consider how they want to see and be seen. There’s the pig who imagines being a rock star. The fashionable cockatoo who dreams of being painted by a famous artist. And the high-jumping frog who wants to be the greatest goalie ever. This book offers both a funny gallery of animals’ aspirations, and an exploration of how we present ourselves in a world where public pictures determine how others see us. How do we show ourselves in our best light? How do we take charge of how we are seen? What can a picture tell about us? In a world where pictures often say more than a thousand words, this book is a perfect conversation starter—and always good for a laugh.
