Switch to Music mode for a full-bodied, classic ribbon tone with rich low-end, making it versatile for both studio and broadcast applications.
• Phantom-Powered Circuitry for Optimal Performance: Unlike traditional ribbon microphones, the 44-A requires phantom power, integrating Cloudlifter circuitry for increased output and impedance matching. This allows seamless compatibility with modern preamps without the need for additional gain devices. Experience the warmth of a ribbon mic with the convenience of active circuitry, ensuring consistent, high-quality recordings in any professional or home studio setup.
• Exceptional Isolation with Figure-8 Polar Pattern: Designed for superior directionality, the 44-A features a true figure-8 polar pattern that captures rich detail from the front and back while rejecting sound from the sides. This makes it an excellent choice for recording vocals, instruments, and stereo setups in untreated rooms. The natural side rejection minimizes unwanted noise, providing clean, focused recordings without excessive room coloration.
• Premium Build Quality with Pro-Grade Accessories: Built for durability and precision, the 44-A is internally shock-mounted to reduce handling noise and vibrations.
