What Our Gearhead Experts Are Saying:
"I keep the Trailhead II in the truck for any trip where car camping comfort matters more than pack weight. The extra-wide sleeping surface makes a real difference for a full night's rest, and at this price it's hard to argue with what you get — a steel frame, 300-pound capacity, and a carry bag that keeps everything together between trips."
Sleeping on the ground is fine until it isn't. The Coleman Trailhead II Cot lifts you off it with a steel frame, a 35-inch-wide sleeping surface, and 17 inches of clearance that keeps you away from cold, damp ground without any of the complexity of an air mattress setup. At 75 inches long, it accommodates most adults comfortably, and the included carry bag keeps the whole thing contained for transport between the garage and the campsite.
Setup is straightforward, and the cot folds back down into a compact package that fits easily in a truck bed or car trunk. Add a sleeping pad for extra cushion on cold nights, and the Trailhead II handles the rest.
Skip the ground and wake up rested with the Trailhead II Cot (DWGCA1A)
