Cuphea Anagalloidea

Cuphea anagalloidea is a delicate small stem plant that requires a lot of care.
The brilliant shade of scarlet that may be found on the upper surface of the submerged leaves is brought out to its fullest potential when exposed to bright light. This plant was initially introduced into the aquarium hobby under the name Rotala sp. Araguaia; however, it was later determined that it belongs to the Cuphea species. Cuphea Anagalloidea can only grow vertically. It looks best when used in a group in the middleground as a color accent. The upper edges of the leaves turn a bright crimson to orange-red color under high lighting, but the stem remains green. Sufficient lighting, with plenty CO2 and nutrients, and soft water are all recommended.
