Dalbello Cabrio LV 120 Ski Boot

The advanced entry in the Dalbello Cabrio line, the Cabrio LV 120 is both playful and powerful for the right skier. As a freeride, three-piece boot the Cabrio LV 120 excels in nearly every situation it is put in. Designed to be a shade softer than the beefy 130 model, the Cabrio LV 120 has excellent downhill performance while being a little more forgiving.

Why we like it:

While we don’t like to classify boots by where they can go on the mountain, we do like the ability of the Cabrio LV 120 to be playful and where that shines most is in the park and off piste. While it can go anywhere on the mountain, park and freeride skiers should definitely take a look.

Who it's for:

Advanced skiers looking to get power from their boots, but with a more laidback and flowy style will love the Cabrio LV 120.

Highlights:

One of the big highlights of the Cabrio LV 120 is the 3DWrap liner. The Dalbello PuRe tech is a big factor in how the liner interacts with the foot and boot, providing three layers of fully heat moldable material. Customizable to the foot, the liners are comfortable and warm without sacrificing foot retention and power transmission. The plastic tongue of a three-piece boot has a lot to do with how it flexes, and on the Cabrio LV 120 the tongue allows for shock absorption and rebound while still powering the boot. These characteristics make the boot a great option for skiers looking to get off the groomers and into bumps, tree lines, and the park.

Things to consider:

The Cabrio LV 120 is a well rounded boot for most skiers, but we would recommend very aggressive skiers looking for more “fast twitch” sensitivity start with overlap boots.

Fit & sizing considerations:

A combination of the 3DWrap liner encasing the foot with dense, comfortable foam and the Dynalink buckle give the Cabrio LV 120 excellent heel hold. The boot is low volume and compressive, but not overly so. Our fitters said they felt the heel through the mid foot was tight while the forefoot and toes felt reasonably comfortable.
