DESCRIPTION
Beautiful, fresh figs are slowly dried before being ground into a paste and cooked with sugar. Fresh oranges are then juiced by hand and added to this simmering kettle. This popular Croatian preserve has become a popular pairing for various specialty cheeses such as French brie or a young, Dutch gouda! A gold medal winner at the New York Fancy Food show, imagine spreading a delicious Fig Newton without the prudish scientist inside!
