Glue and paint are not included. - Original version with old optics head - Battle value increased version with new optics head The Jaguar 1 rocket hunt tank has been upgraded to the basis of the outdated Rocket Hunting Tank 2. This concept study was already envisaged in 1964/65, but it was not until 1978-82 that it actually came to the conversion of 316 old rocket hunting tanks 2. A new weapon system was installed with the HOT system, which offered various advantages and can be quickly reloaded automatically by a drum magazine with eight missiles. Twelve other missiles can be stored inside the vehicle. Furthermore, the combat compartment has been equipped with additional armour, which stands out thanks to eye-catching screw connections. In addition, chain aprons have been introduced for this rocket hunting tank. Until the KWS in the years 1993-1995, the Jaguar 1 was not capable of fighting at night - then it got the strikingly large view head in the middle of the front, which contained a thermal imaging device in addition to day optics and goniometer. 157 of the vehicles received this battle value increase. The Jaguar 1 with thermal imaging device is 6.61 m long, 3.12 m wide and 2.55 m high. With deep water shaft, it can pass through waters up to 1.8 m, has a ditch crossing capacity of 2 m and a climbing capacity of 80 cm. The combat weight is 25.5 t, which the 29.9 L MTU motor can accelerate with 500 HP to a maximum of 70 km/h. From 1996 to 2006, Jaguar 1 were in use with the Austrian Federal Army.
