- GEMSTONE-ONLY DETECTION: This diamond tester is EXCLUSIVELY for gemstone testing (diamond, moissanite, jade, crystal, glass). NEVER test metal, gold, silver, skin, water or any non-gem items—false beeps/lights are normal, not a product defect
- MUST-FOLLOW OPERATION STEPS: Power on → Preheat 30s (critical step) → Calibrate to 4th mark → Touch back metal panel with bare hand → Probe gem at 90° perpendicular. Reset calibration before each test for accurate results, no professional skills needed
- WHY METAL/GOLD TRIGGERS BEEPS: Metal/gold share similar thermal conductivity with diamonds, which causes the diamond tester professional to give false prompts. This is the fundamental working principle of the thermal conductivity gem tester, not a quality or accuracy issue
- CRITICAL MISTAKES TO AVOID: 1. Gloved operation (blocks conductivity, no response); 2. Single-hand use/untouched back panel (wrong results); 3. Tilted probe (invalid induction, no prompt); 4. Windy/cold environments (interferes with detection); 5. Skip preheating/calibration (unreliable readings)
- OPTIMAL USAGE CONDITIONS: Stable performance at 10-35℃ (humidity ＜80%), windless environment recommended. Clean probe regularly for better efficiency; turn off power after use to save battery; battery temp ＜10℃ shortens usage time
- ALL-IN-ONE READY-TO-USE KIT: Comes with diamond tester pen + 9V battery (included) + testing platform + user manual. No extra accessories needed—unbox and use instantly. Testing platform stabilizes gems to avoid shaking errors during detection
- PORTABLE DESIGN FOR ALL USERS: Palm-sized and lightweight, fits in pocket/bag for on-site appraisal, jewelry store and home use. Equipped with gem size switch + audible/visual prompts, easy to operate for both beginners and professional gem lovers
