DMF Remodel Kit

I refuse to have anything less than the best in my home, which led me to find DMF. Lighting is incredibly important to the feel of your home. You need good lighting to represent everything in your home respectfully.

Let me introduce you to the DRD2. DMF makes a lot of lights, but this one is the best for the home.The DRD2 has a 93+ CRI rating, meaning the quality of light it produces renders colors more accurately than most lights. You'll need a few additional pieces though to make the module work, and that's what this kit is; everything you need for a standard Remodel.

This kit was specifically designed for remodel applications or when you want to add a can light to an existing ceiling. Check out the video Mike Figueira and I did on installing the retrofit kit. This one is slightly different but definitely DIY-friendly. 

When it comes to options, we kept it as simple as possible. Style is pretty self-explanatory; unless you have wood ceilings, you’re going to want to go with white. I originally didn't like the square housing but I've come around to the square housing recently.

You’ll want to be mindful when it comes to color temperatures, mainly if you’re used to cheaper LEDs. DMF lights render color very accurately, so 3000k ends up looking closer to 3500K. So if you want a warmer look, go with 3000K. If you want more natural light, get the 3500K.
