FELCO 704 - High Cut-Resistant Pruning Gloves - ANSI A4 Protection - Synthetic Leather & Breathable Mesh

FELCO 704 - High Cut-Resistant Pruning Gloves - ANSI A4 - Synthetic Leather & Breathable Mesh

Operating sharp secateurs and pull-cut saws requires hand protection that meets industrial cut standards without sacrificing dexterity or handle feedback. The FELCO 704 pairs a high-grip synthetic leather palm with cut-resistant fibre lining and breathable mesh backing, certified to ANSI A4 and EN388:2016 for commercial orchard and vineyard safety.

Flexible neoprene across the knuckles and ventilated mesh on the thumb maintain joint mobility and airflow during long shifts. Six sizes from S to XXXL accommodate diverse crews; due to the dense protective weave, selecting one size larger than your normal glove size is recommended for optimal comfort.

Best For: Commercial viticulturists, orchardists, arborists, and safety-conscious gardeners who need industrial-strength cut protection while operating sharp manual pruners, loppers, and pruning saws.

Key Features:

• Premium Cut-Resistant Fibre Lining: Internal cut-resistant fibres meet ANSI A4 standards against blade slips and thorny abrasions.
• Certified EN388 Protection: EN388:2016 rating 3.4.4.3.D for abrasion, tear, and puncture resistance in commercial environments.
• High-Grip Synthetic Leather Palm: Supple synthetic leather palm delivers secure non-slip hold on tool handles in dry and damp conditions.
• Flexible Neoprene & Mesh Backing: Elastic neoprene knuckles and breathable mesh thumb zone reduce fatigue and improve ventilation.
• Comprehensive Professional Sizing: Six sizes from S to XXXL; select one size up due to dense protective internal weave.

Primary Field & Utility Applications

• Commercial Orchard & Vineyard Pruning: Essential safety barrier during high-volume pruning with manual cutting tools.
• Lopper & Saw Operations: Confident handling of pull-cut saws, hedge shears, and loppers during acreage clearing.
• Rough Material Handling: Splintered timber, thorny brambles, and dense brushwood without laceration risk.

Pro Tip & Maintenance: Cut-resistant liners do not make gloves cut-proof; always cut away from the body and keep blades sharp to reduce slip force. Wash gently by hand and air-dry to preserve fibre integrity. Inspect palms weekly for wear and replace at first sign of liner exposure.
