Does it need batteries?
Yes. It's powered by 2 AAA batteries (included) that drive the mist pump — there is no charging. Open the back cover to install them.
Can I use grooming conditioner in the tank, or only water?
Both. Fill the clear reservoir with clean water or a coat conditioner/grooming liquid. If you use conditioner, empty the tank after each session and rinse the pins and nozzle to prevent clogging.
Is it a heated steam brush?
No. It sprays a fine, room-temperature water mist from a 30 ml tank — not hot steam — to dampen the coat for smoother detangling and less static.
What pets and coats is it for?
