While it has often been used as a complement to Herend's patterns, this dramatic decorative border really comes into its own when it gets top billing. Each Fish Scale piece is individually hand painted and carefully outlined in 24-karat gold to form a border that frames a pure white center by highly recognized artists in Europe.
The traditional pattern of design is enhanced by accents of 24k gold hand painted over superior quality white porcelain in the Old World Master tradition. The Evergreen Saucer is strong enough for everyday use.
This design is great to mix-and-match with many other Herend patterns, and the fish scale border comes in a variety of colors. Each scale is individually hand-painted and carefully outlined in 24-karat gold to form a border that surrounds a pure white center.
