During September 2009, Simon Sinek did a TED Talk on How Great Leaders Inspire Action. It should be (and can be) transformational and paradigm-shifting. As of January, 2017 - more than 30,000,000 people have viewed his video. I guess we can say that he has already reached the tipping point. How he did this is not really that important. WHY he did it has all the relevance in the world. His amazing insight can be summed up in 3 words - START WITH WHY. That is exactly "why" I wrote this book back in the middle of 2015. After teaching in a graduate school for more than a year, I found too many students (with great potential) mindlessly and carelessly journeying through their MBA/MS programs focused on the wrong things, such as: how fast can I finish my degree, what is the minimum I have to do to get the A, why do I have to learn Excel, do I really have to work with other people, who is the easiest professor that teaches this course? I finally decided that my students needed a life-intervention. So I created my primitive art (and stories) designed to re-focus them on their WHY. Every person in life right now is in some teaching or learning capacity. Teachers - help students find their WHY and unleash their potential. Students - find your WHY and surprise people at work, at home, and yourself! The most common reaction I get from my students after they read my book say "I wish I had read your book at the beginning of my journey. It would have made all the difference in the world."
