A versatile natural material with exceptional movement and minimal weight.
This select fox tail features soft, fine hairs that are longer than typical body fur—ideal for winging and tailing on a wide range of patterns. It ties in easily and adds natural, lifelike motion in the water, making your flies more convincing and effective.
Essential for saltwater flies—especially bonefish patterns—where subtle action and lightweight materials are key. Also excellent for creating bulky, buggy dubbing loops on large predator flies, such as those used for Murray Cod and other freshwater beasts.
A true all-rounder for any serious fly tyer’s bench.
