If the seal is defective or not properly installed, it can lead to a significant increase in energy consumption (electricity costs) and damaged refrigerator.Our refrigerator/freezer door seals are removable, washable, and reusable for long-term efficiency.
- [Installation Instructions] To make shipping easier, the seal will be folded for packaging. However, it remains highly flexible. Simply soak the seal in hot water at 60-70°C (140-158°F) for a few minutes, then follow our installation instructions to restore it to its full shape and functionality.
- [Magnetic Properties] Ensure the refrigerator door seal is free of wrinkles for the magnet to function properly. The magnet's polarity (closing force) may take up to 24 hours to fully activate. If the seal does not attract and close immediately, place a heavy object (e.g., a bucket of water) against the closed door to apply pressure and help activate the magnet.
