- The 7-inch Luxor Nakiri knife is characterized by its straight-edged blade and squared-off tip, setting it apart from more common curved kitchen knives, perfectly suited for slicing, dicing, and chopping vegetables. Its length and unique shape allow for efficient, straight cuts, making it a favorite for preparing a variety of vegetable dishes.
- Damascus VG10 blade, featuring 67 layers and a bolster made of exclusive stainless steel, stands out for its robustness and ability to maintain a sharp edge. This variant of Damascus steel, with its high carbon content of 0.95-1.05%, achieving 58-60HRC, is significantly harder – over three times – compared to the standard 0.3% carbon content found in similar class knives.
- The handle, made from high-density fiber, is crafted to provide both comfort and longevity, lessening hand strain over extended periods of use. Its stain-resistant nature ensures easy maintenance and hygiene, essential for kitchen safety and upkeep.
- The full tang construction of the knife guarantees stability and robustness, with the blade running through the entire handle for improved balance and leverage. Its ergonomically curved handle offers both comfort and a firm grip, and the additional weight aids in more controlled handling.
- Robust 10-year warranty ensures a satisfying purchase and customer service.
