Marlis wicker laundry and storage basket with lid and handles TheWickerStories

Gray, round wicker basket with a tight, even weave looks simple and neat, making it easy to fit into a bathroom or bedroom. It has a stable, solid base and a carefully finished rim that emphasize the quality of workmanship. The open form allows quick access to contents, and the muted gray tone brings a calm, minimalist character and order to the interior. Dimensions: Ø35 H:39 (cm).

It is made from natural, seasoned wicker that is lightweight, durable and renewable. Each piece is handwoven by experienced artisans and retains subtle variations that testify to authentic craftsmanship. The basket was made in the EU according to Polish weaving traditions listed on the UNESCO Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. Its surface is finished in a fashionable gray shade using safe, certified paints. The material is breathable and neutral toward stored textiles, and the careful weave ensures years of durability.

As a wicker laundry basket it works great in bathrooms and bedrooms. The round shape makes it easy to place next to the washer, in a corner or alcove, and the open construction simplifies tossing in and taking out clothes. The breathability of the wicker limits moisture and unpleasant odors, giving laundry and towels better conditions between cycles.

Beyond laundry, it’s a practical storage basket: it can hold blankets and pillows in the living room, toys in a child’s room, and seasonal textiles in the wardrobe. It performs well as a decorative organizer in living areas and hallways. The smooth inner weave is gentle on fabrics, and the gray color pairs easily with Scandinavian, boho and rustic interiors. Unlike popular materials such as rattan, reed, sedge, straw, water hyacinth or bamboo, our products are made from authentic Polish wicker – natural, durable and valued for its exceptional quality and timeless character.

Choose European craftsmanship and pick a natural wicker basket that will keep your home tidy and serve you for years.
