The origin of Mason's Vista can be traced to Francis Morley who purchased the Mason business and factories in 1848. This wonderful and highly collectible pattern has designs and scenes that are easy to recognize by their English castles, and the variety of colors and shapes makes it a challenging hobby. They are much cherished, in England and around the world. Now in this richly illustrated and much awaited book, the pattern is explored in detail. Over 300 beautiful color images show the shapes, colors, and design variations in the pattern. In addition rare pages from a retail catalog are reproduced helping establish the production history of the company. Detailed information about Mason Vista, precise captions and current values complete the book, making it a useful resource for collectors and ceramic historians alike. Read more
