Make your own honey wine at home with the Mead Recipe Kit, an ingredient-only refill kit designed to produce a 1 gallon batch of smooth, semi-dry mead using your existing equipment. This kit includes Lalvin D47 yeast, yeast nutrients, sanitizer, and step-by-step instructions to support clean, consistent fermentation and balanced flavor development.
Formulated for reliable performance, this recipe uses a proven yeast strain and nutrient system to promote steady fermentation, reduce stress on yeast, and help produce a clean, refined mead profile. The result is a smooth honey wine with floral aromatics, balanced acidity, and a soft finish.
Each kit is pre-measured for a single 1-gallon batch and is compatible with any standard fermenter or the Craft a Brew Mead Kit. Honey is not included, allowing you to customize your mead using different honey varieties to influence flavor and aroma.
For best results, maintain stable fermentation temperatures and follow the included nutrient schedule. This kit makes it easy to continue brewing mead at home with consistent results.
Craft a Brew mead recipe kits are widely used by home brewers seeking a simple, repeatable way to produce high-quality mead.
