Murdannia keisak is a unique aquatic stem plant known for its bamboo-like appearance. Its bright green leaves add grassy texture and offer a soft, organic look that works well in planted aquariums, indoor ponds, and Wabi Kusa plant displays.
Its growth is naturally upright and straight but will readily branch out and spread when trimmed back. With the ability to grow in submerged, marginal, or emersed conditions, Murdannia keisak is a versatile choice for a variety of planted setups. When grown fully submerged in aquariums, the plant may develop subtle red tones under stronger lighting and with CO2 injection.
When healthy, it grows quickly, making it a great option for aquascapers looking for a fast-growing plant that offers a refreshing alternative to more common stems. Its distinctive leaf shape adds variety and texture to planted layouts while helping fill space in newly established planted tanks.
