New Voices Anthology of Short Plays 2025

Founded in 1997 New Voices has been, and still is, a creative home for many playwrights in Orange County, California. A remarkable number of plays have gone on to full production. This Anthology of eleven Short Plays is designed for your entertainment and contains exciting work from three writers new to the group. While most of them are comedies, others are thought-provoking, reflective, heart-wrenching and even deeply disturbing. All of them have been peer-reviewed, and most have been fully produced in theatres across the US or more locally in our own stage shows. The anthology contains all the information you need to request permission to perform plays in your local theatre. If you've never thought of simply reading a play for fun, now is a great time to start. Read more
