Description: Oban 12 Year Old “Heart of the Harbour” Special Release 2025 is a striking single malt from the coastal Highland-town distillery, part of the prestigious Diageo Special Releases. Aged for 12 years in ex-bourbon American oak casks and bottled at natural cask strength of 54.7% ABV, this expression bridges Highland richness with maritime character. On the nose you’ll find sea spray, honeyed spice, and tinned peach syrup tied to wood-smoke and citrus peel. The palate offers creamy texture, warmed oak, soft maritime salinity, baked stone fruit, and a touch of butterscotch. The finish lingers with oak tannin, salted peanuts, lemon zest and a whisper of sea breeze—evoking the heart and soul of the harbour itself. Limited in quantity and exquisite in execution, this release is a must for collectors, connoisseurs and anyone seeking a refined coastal single malt experience.
