- A MUST-HAVE FOR ALL BEGINNER & EXPERT POTTERS & CERAMIC ARTISTS - Kiln wash is a protective layer that is applied to your kiln shelves to prevent glazed pieces from sticking while firing. It is a must-have for potters of all skill levels, preventing costly damage to your ceramic kiln and ensuring your ceramics release easily without cracks or imperfections.
- EASY TO APPLY WITH GREAT ADHESION - Your glaze may run, your pot may tip over, or you may over-fire the clay. This makes ceramic kiln wash an important preventative measure for all glaze firings. Apply several thin coats to the top layer of your shelves, letting it dry thoroughly in between each coat. Just brush or spray it on, and enjoy the confidence of a kiln wash that bonds tightly to your shelves, minimizing flaking and maximizing protection.Do not apply to fiber-based or silicon carbide shelves.
- [LIFETIME WARRANTY] - All Penguin Pottery products are backed by our Lifetime Warranty. If you have any issues, we will give you a refund or replace your product - no questions asked.
- [1% FOR SCHOOLS] - The Penguin Fund is Penguin Pottery's commitment to the future of ceramics. We donate 1% of sales to underserved public schools that need support for their ceramics classes. We also support artists through the Craft Emergency Relief Fund (CERF+).
