Premier Cotes des Blancs Dry Wine Yeast | Red Star | 5g

Premier Cotes des Blancs Dry Wine Yeast from Red Star, in a 5-gram packet, is specifically tailored for crafting delicate white wines, like Chardonnay and Riesling, and is also excellent for making meads and ciders. This yeast is perfect for small-batch fermentations, effectively fermenting up to 6 gallons (23 liters).

Premier Cottes des Blancs, known for its low foaming and low alcohol production, is a choice yeast for producing light, fruity, and refined wines. It encourages the development of complex floral and fruity aromas while preserving the natural acidity and freshness of the wine, making it ideal for white wines with a nuanced and elegant profile.

This yeast strain is particularly valued for its slow, steady fermentation, which allows for the gradual development of flavors and aromas, enhancing the overall complexity of the wine. Its ability to ferment at cooler temperatures helps maintain the varietal character and integrity of the grapes, resulting in a wine that truly reflects its origin and grape variety.
