Revolution for Puppies and Kittens

Revolution provides broad spectrum protection against most internal and external parasites in puppies and kittens six weeks of age or older. It kills adult fleas and prevents flea eggs from hatching, treats and controls sarcoptic mange and intestinal worms, and prevents heartworm disease. Revolution is a once-monthly topical treatment that is applied to the pet’s skin.

Revolution is a systemically acting, broad-spectrum parasiticide that has a well defined safety profile combined with excellent efficacy to help protect your dog and cat against a wide variety of parasites. Revolution enters the bloodstream through the skin. Concentrations of Revolution in the blood and tissues prevent heartworm disease and prevent and treat roundworm and hookworm infections. Revolution selectively redistributes from the blood to the skin and other tissues, where it provides protection against fleas, flea eggs, and ear mites.

For Use:
Dogs (at least 6 weeks of age) and cats (at least 8 weeks of age)

Puppies and kittens 0-5 lb.

Cautions:
Do not use in sick, weak or underweight animals. The pet should be tested for heartworm disease before starting this medication. Wash hands with soap and water after handling the medication. Store this medicine below 86°F. Store away from heat and direct sunlight. Make sure to tell your veterinarian what other medication you are giving to your pet. Quite often your veterinarian may prescribe two different medications, even if a drug interaction may occur. In this case, your veterinarian may vary the dose and/or monitor your pet more closely. Contact your veterinarian if your pet experiences any unusual reactions when different medications are given together. Allergic reactions to medications may occur. Be sure to inform your veterinarian if your pet has any known drug sensitivities or allergies. If your pet displays symptoms of an allergic reaction, call your veterinarian immediately or go to a veterinary emergency clinic. Symptoms may include but are not limited to: swollen lips, tongue, face, airways; difficulty breathing; agitation; profuse salivation; vomiting; widespread hives and itching. Side Effects:
Rare side effects include vomiting, loose stools or diarrhea with or without blood, loss of appetite, drowsiness, salivation, rapid breathing and muscle tremors. A small percentage of cats may temporarily lose their hair and have slight inflammation at or near the site of application. If you notice anything unusual, contact your veterinarian.

Usage:
Revolution should be applied topically as directed by your veterinarian.
