Salomon Shift Alpha Boa 110 Alpine Touring Boot

Nestled between the Tecnica Zero G and Atomic Hawx XTD line, the Alpha stands out as a possible all-in-one boot. While not advised, the Alpha meets the requirements for an all-day shredder, on and off the slopes.

As expected, The Shift Alpha has a BOA closure - but be aware; this isn't your typical setup. While the BOA H+i1 fit system looks the same, it's way cooler. The dial is on the outer side of your foot, opposite the navicular bone, and the cable attaches to the inner ankle pivot with a strap. This helps pull your foot into the ankle pocket without squishing it. Plus, it has two regular buckles and a 50mm elastic power strap at the top, complete with a fancy Salomon Booster Strap. And the best part? All the hardware is just screws and bolts, so you can easily fix and tweak to your heart's content.
