Seven Pines Forge, owned by Ted Ferringer, is nestled in the foothills of the Allegheny Mountains in Pennsylvania. Each piece that is made reveals the subtle individuality of the craft, for those who appreciate the simplicity of Colonial design and the tradition of Early American wrought iron. The amount of skill, labor and time required for this craft is not easy but Ted Ferringer is committed to preserve the standard and quality of his trade.
- Hand forged In The USA from 4140 Steel.
- Weight: 1.80 lbs., Handle Length: 10.25”, Cutting Edge: 2″ inches, due to being hand made measurements may vary a little.
- Small Gutter Adze is a kind of Adze with a rounded end. It is used for hollowing out timber (for example: making a trough for old-style gutter & notch work in log building and also for bowl/chair carving).
- The short handle makes it easier for the user to work closer to the log or block of wood.
- The amount of skill, labor and time required for this craft is not easy but Ted Ferringer at Seven Pines Forge is committed to preserve the standard and quality of his trade.
