Stretched Canvas for Painting 12" x 12" Museum 2-3/8" Extra Deep Profile, 17oz Acrylic Gesso Triple Primed, Gallery-Style (2 Pack), 100% Cotton, Art Canvases for Painting, Epoxy Resin

The Museum 2-3/8 Inch Extra Deep All Media Cotton Canvas is engineered for artists requiring depth and durability for professional presentations. Each unit is manufactured from 100% natural cotton, featuring a 10oz raw weight that increases to a 17oz primed weight after the application of three coats of archival acrylic gesso. This triple-primed surface ensures colors remain vibrant while providing the necessary tooth for oil, acrylic, and alkyd paints. The extra-deep profile offers a significant visual presence, making it suitable for large-scale works and triptych layouts. The clean tuck-and-roll construction results in paintable edges, eliminating the need for a frame and allowing the artwork to wrap around the sides for a 3D effect. This construction is reinforced with back spline stretching and corner staples to maintain structural integrity and surface tension over time. Designed for versatility, this medium-textured canvas supports heavy applications of paint, including epoxy artwork and textured mixed media. Artisans hand-stretch each piece to ensure quality standards are met for gallery-worthy results. Whether used for traditional oil painting or modern pouring techniques, this surface provides a stable and professional-grade foundation for diverse artistic expressions.
