Tapio Wirkkala Design Lights Pisara

Rosenthal is launching a new collection of scented candles, placing a strong
emphasis on expressive design language. Archived vase designs by Finnish designer
Tapio Wirkkala have been brought back to life - reimagined with premium wax and
presented in an entirely new context.

Four are cast in white porcelain, while the other four feature a black porcelain body. Typical of Wirkkala's style, the vessels feature ribbed textures and dotted reliefs that play with
contrasts between matte and glossy finishes - creating a striking visual and tactile
appeal. Available in two sizes, holding 7 1/2 oz and 15 oz of wax respectively, the
candles offer long-lasting fragrance.

The larger variants feature up to three wicks for an especially even burn. Six of the designs come with a lid embossed with the Rosenthal relief logo. All porcelain forms are also available without wax - either with a lid as a classic container, or open as versatile decorative pieces.
