THE NERVE OF IT MAX SUPPORT* MEAL TOPPER is a primary sedative, anxiolytic (anti-anxiety), analgesic (pain relieving), anti-spasmodic, antinociceptive neurotransmission regulation (may help block painful or injurious stimuli triggered by sensory pain neurons), anti-convulsant, anti-anaphylactic, and antioxidant plant actions that may help lower pain response and may help calm a hyper sensitive Central Nervous System, due in part, to its 20 isoquinoline alkaloids, which has been compared and studied for its calming effects to the commonly-prescribed anti-anxiety drug diazepam. 

Its anti-inflammatory cyclopentene, scopoletin, and nitric oxide (NO) production inhibitory plant derivatives may not only help block excessive pain but may help restrict pain messages from being negatively transmitted from the brain to other body systems.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

Do not give to  pregnant or nursing pets or pets with hemophilia. May lower blood pressure and may strengthen the effects of sedative drugs.  

DRUG INTERACTIONS

May interact with MAOI inhibitor (monoamine oxidase inhibitor) drugs.  May potentiate anti-coagulant, anti-hypertensive and anti-anxiety medications. 

CAUTIONS 

Cautioned for use with blood thinners, anxiety, MAOI inhibitor and monoamine oxidase inhibitor drugs.   

SUGGESTED DOSING

Dogs and cats up to 12 pounds: 1 capsule, one time daily.
Dogs and cats 13-25 pounds: 1 capsule, two times daily. 
Dogs and cats 26-50 pounds: 2 capsules, two times daily.

Dogs 51-75 pounds: 3 capsules, two times daily

Dogs 76+ pounds: 4 capsules, two times daily.
