The Progressed Moon Around the Zodiac

Using her background as a psychotherapist and astrologer, Gisele Terry has combined the developmental theories of psychology and astrology to create the lunar return model of development. This model of development focuses on the natal Moon, the progressed Moon, and the cycles of the progressed Moon through the zodiac. "I began to see the progressed Moon as an indicator of a client's here and now emotional focus," said Gisele. "Thus the position of the progressed Moon, its sign and placement in the chart, became a starting point and provided additional access to the meaning of the charts." The Progressed Moon Around the Zodiac is divided into three sections, each of which guides you progressively through the lunar return model of development and its practical uses in chart reading: The first explains how ideas about development in astrology correspond with psychological theories of development and form the foundation of the lunar return model of development. The second describes this model in detail and uses case examples. The third illustrates the application of the lunar return model of development in clients' natal and progressed charts, and also presents the possibility of a universal template for human development.
