- Details: This is such a beautiful porcelain egg! It is from the Bavaria Germany porcelain house, "Gerold Porzellan". The design on the lid consists of pink wild roses and their leaves. It has beautiful tones of dark and light pink plus yellow, red and white, with green and gray leaves. Both the top and bottom have a thick 22 carat gold rim. It is stamped on the bottom: "Gerold - Porzellan, Bavaria, Made in W-Germany". It is also embossed with the model #3061/3. This pattern has been made since 1949 and the use of "West Germany" ended in 1989 so this piece is from between those years, we think it's more likely from 1970's. Excellent on a dressing table for jewelry, for the powder room, girl's room to corral small items, even in a sun room or covered patio. Of course, it's ideal for Easter!
