Tropical Nitrogen Test

Tropical Nitrogen test comes in two forms 2 for Nitrites and 3 for Nitrates.

Test NO2:

• Nitrite Test KitA test kit for measuring the concentration of nitrite (NO2⁻) in freshwater and saltwater aquariums. It measures nitrite levels within the range of 0-3.3 mg/L. This test is convenient and extremely easy to use. Simply add the reagent solution drop by drop until the sample changes color, then compare it with the provided color scale.
  
  
• Nitrites originate from fish excreta, uneaten food, and other organic waste that accumulates in the aquarium and is broken down by bacteria. The concentration of nitrites in an aquarium should be zero, as they are highly toxic to fish. The highest nitrite concentrations are usually observed in new, overstocked tanks or after treatment with bactericidal agents.

This test is convenient and extremely easy to use. Simply add the reagent solution drop by drop until the sample changes color, then compare it with the provided color scale.
