UNHANDCUFFED!: Stories from Fifty Years of Policing Hardcover – December 4, 2024

Partly autobiographical, the encounters in this book stem from the experiences of the author who joined the South San Francisco police department at the age of 21, and in 10 years promoted through the ranks to take command of this department. Some of the stories recount humorous events, other tragic ones, all in the line of duty from patrol officer to supervisor, then as a violent crimes detective and ultimately as police chief. After 15 years with that department, Chief Rosano was recruited by the Santa Rosa police department to bring modern police management to that organization. You will grimace as he takes you through some difficult cases, and laugh as he attempts to interview a topless dancer. All memorable moments in the life of a career law enforcement officer. Read more
