What's Matter You? Paperback – February 22, 2026

What’s the Matter With You? is a quiet, magical story about learning to listen to what we feel. It follows Emily, a curious young girl, as she walks through a forest of emotions guided by a wise old Owl. In this forest, feelings are not problems to fix, but voices to hear. Anger, sadness, joy, and fear each appear with something to teach, reminding Emily that every emotion carries meaning and belongs.Through the soft storytelling, the book gently shows children how to notice their feelings, name them, and find calm in their bodies and breath. It offers reassurance that nothing they feel is wrong, and that they are never alone with their emotions. Written for all ages, the story nurtures emotional awareness and healing, speaking as much to the child being raised as to the child still living inside every adult. Read more
